Nicely tucked inside Parramatta Park, Gatehouse Tea Rooms is definitely not your ordinary venue.
To start, the building was built in 1887 and is a significant part of the colonial history of Parramatta and in 2007 was granted the World Heritage Listing by UNESCO.
Once you enter this venue, you will forget for a moment that you are in the middle of the busy city of Parramatta.

Reading many reviews about how good their coffee was, I was intrigued to try it myself. Well, tasting is believing. They are hidden indeed, but as I got closer to them, I saw many people lining up to order coffee. And it was a chilly morning!

Visited this Bakery to try their legendaryGinger Brulee Tart. Oh wow! Everything is just so perfect. Smooth filling with subtle ginger kick that is not overly sweet. That burnt sugar on top, awesome! Love the added pistachio on top for extra crunch. Really worth a visit!
