Thai Rock Potts Point is an awesome venue located not far from Kings Cross Train Station.
With an East meets West cuisine, their extensive menu delivers a unique dining experience and caters for many delicious dishes you crave!
The restaurant itself has elegant decor with a Thai inspired touch, which is exotic and traditional at the same time.
Seating area is large and the venue can accommodate up to 200 guests.
Their full bar really caught my attention with the colourful and large range of gin (125 types to be exact!).
Let’s talk about the dishes now.
Their Volcanic Rock was definitely the star!
Not only did I love the theater, it was nice to enjoy a hot slice of this age rib eye of beef fillet every single time! The rocks cook the meat to the perfect temperature.
The other dishes I tried were also fantastic. Loved their seared scallops, Thai Rock special fried rice (spicy) and choo chee prawns. Really flavoursome.
Before enjoying the dessert I tried their dessert wine from Keith Tulloc. So good!
As for the desserts, I really loved their fried ice cream and mango gelato & sticky rice.
Both were so delicious and indulgent. Definitely top notch desserts!
Overall, I had a fantastic dining experience here. Highly recommend!
