It was my first time visiting Machiavelli and I was beyond impressed.
This venue took my breath away as soon as I stepped into the room.
Loved the elegant, romantic and sophisticated ambience.
The venue has a spacious seating area with many black and white photos of famous people on the wall that will keep the conversation going between the guests.
If you know me, I always start my meal with a cup of coffee. So I ordered a skinny flat white as per usual. It was awesome.
Now, let’s talk about the food. The glorious food!
The starters were not only plated beautifully but tasted wonderful. I loved how the dishes were like art on the plates.
King fish carpaccio w/ extra virgin oil, lime, chilli, lemon dressing and pomegranate. Fresh, tangy and delicious!
Fresh blue mountain figs wrapped with San Daniele prosciutto served warm with gorgonzola and sage sauce. Distinctively delicious. Easily becoming my favourite dish of the day!
Traditional Burrata served with cherry tomatoes, red chargrilled capsicum, croutons, kalamata olives, drizzled with extra virgin oil and sherry vinegar. Every component was fresh and the whole dish was executed perfectly. You just wanted to keep going back for the next bite!
Now, the mains. One word: Amazing!
From the moreton bay bugs with pappardelle to the steak tartare, pappardele duck ragu and scampi, top notch!
Gnocchi Napoletana. Definitely the best gnocchi I’ve ever tasted. Soft and pillowy!
The zucchini flowers were irresistible! Crispy on the outside and soft and cheesy on the inside.
As for the desserts, they were all stunning!
Indulgent and heaven for someone with a sweet tooth like me! My favourite had to be the cheesecake however. To. Die .For.
All in all I had an amazing dining experience here at Machiavelli and I highly recommend you to pay this venue a visit.
